Very easy and light course to take, you cant dislike this teacher. Exams are very close to his old ones, just practice all of them

Pros: Past Exams helped with exams in class. Rush was also very helpful if anyone needed help.
Cons: I took the class online and it was boring. However, Study Edge and Smokin Notes were my life saver!

Pros: He is a great professor, always there to assist his students. He is very funny while he is teaching so it makes the subject more interesting than it is. The study guide is super helpful and he posts up his past exams so you can just study that and go over your notes and you are guaranteed a good grade.
Cons: Sometimes the lectures can be pointless and some of the information in the textbook isn’t helpful at all or even material in his tests. He will not curve your grade no matter what and your grade only comes from the 3 tests he has so it can be a bit stressful.

Pros: very easy class to understand, no need for book i didn't even try and i got a B. just watch the lectures everyday that way they don't become an overload
Cons: talks a lot with the director and make unnecessary jokes which makes the class fun but not important to the class.
He's overall easy only two exam one final and one makeup which is commutative, in other words it would have stuff from exam one and two instead of one.

Pros: The exams are pretty straight forward and most of the information on the exams come directly from lecture.
Cons: Exams cover alot of info and final is cumulative

Pros: No work outside class, other than studying for tests. Gives you previous tests to study that are pretty similar to the test you're studying for. Really great teacher that explains hard-to-understand material really well.
Cons: Requires lots of studying before tests to get good grades. Curves are small.
Economics is a tough subject that requires lots of studying to understand completely. Don't expect to understand it the first time you go through it in lecture.

Pros: Funny teacher and very enthusiastic about the subject.
Cons: A lot of extra reading and doing problems on your own. So you are bound to wait to the last minute to study. Study from the begining. The test are not easy

DO THE OLD EXAMS! He reuses questions or just changes the numbers in them all the time

Pros: No assignments, so you are chill all semester long.
Cons: Your grade is ONLY based on 3 exams!
No participation/ quizzes/ only a few point of extra credit. Don't you think that that is too intense for an intro level course?
He's not as bad as the teacher for Macroeconomics. This is the easiest business class. :))))

Pros: no homework, he keeps the lectures light and interesting, he talks slowly so play speed 2x is your best friend if you do the online class.
all in all easy to keep up with as long as you read
its up to you to get an a in the class

Pros: Since he's been teaching so long he knows what works and how to best teach the material. He is super enthusiastic and I'm a big fan of the corny jokes. He curves grades to a certain average (usually in the upper 70s) which is nice when the test turns out to be harder than you anticipated.
Cons: If you are on a tight schedule, it is sometimes annoying to watch the lectures because there are random five minute snippets where no actual teaching happens. The director will cause some kind of distraction that is usually prompted by Prof. Rush. If you have nothing else to do these are actually quite entertaining.
The book is not as important as the professor makes it out to be. If you watch his lectures and take good notes (I recommend writing down everything he writes on the board) you will have everything you need for the notecard you can take into the test with you. It's a good idea to do a practice test or two, starting with the most recent ones, but doing more than 3 or 4 will probably drain you more than it'll help you.

Pros: -really funny, informative, dedicated professor. he knows what he's doing and will give you advice for not only his class but classes in general.

There are also atleast 8 previous exams for each exam (so you will have 3 exams and there will about 8 you can practice with for each exam)

Pros: He enthusiastic about the subject and makes it clear. Makes corny jokes at the expense of the director but it's entertaining. Play the videos on high speed.
Cons: Exam 2 Spring '10 was extremely hard. I did all the past practice tests and felt really prepared but that Spring's test was unlike the past tests. So I felt it was a bit unfair.

He is a really good teacher. Just watch the Lectures and you will do fine. He curves all of his tests so that the class has a 74 % average so it just depends how well people do. Definately take Rush if you can.

He's pretty good. Cheesy sense of humor. Quizzes are totally optional online. Just for your own sake to keep up with the course and identify your own weakness.
